Chenoa pulls together
Chenoa received some great press in the December 28 edition of the Pantagraph. It was the banner headline on the front page of the Local section. Check out the story here.

Next projects
At the last Chenoa Cares meeting, it was decided that the next project would be an appreciation dinner for the retired and current volunteer firefighters, EMTs and drivers. The dinner will also serve as a fundraiser for the department. After contacting the fire department, a piece of equipment or other project will be selected as the goal for the fundraiser. A planning meeting for this dinner will be on Monday, January 17 at 7:00 p.m. at Heartland Bank. The target date for the dinner will be March. Most Chenoa Cares meetings are on Monday evenings - on the days when there is NOT a City Council meeting.
The second project that we are targeting is a work project at Chenoa Elementary. A project will be chosen after discussions with school administrators. The target for this project will be May.
